Installation overview

This top deck car park at Waitrose Supermarket in Southsea, Hampshire was in extremely bad repair. It was not only unsafe but suffered from complete degradation of the tarmac treatment. It was also allowing surface water to penetrate the substrate and was causing damage to the reinforcing bars within the underlying structure - whilst also causing substantial damage to the facilities below.

The second picture opposite shows the details of the car park decking system completed to take into considerations the access way out from the top deck.

Why ERS was selected

John Lewis & Partnership approached ERS network to propose a long-term solution to their current car park decking problems.
